Expanding upon the success of the original Le Souk in the East Village, this 4500-square-foot den features belly-dancers, hookahs and a booze-fueled Moroccan-style party. Filled with colorful metal lanterns, flickering candles and several sparkling mosquito nets, Le Souk Harem is equal parts Moroccan hookah den and Arabic dance club. The sprawling brick-walled space features three floors, cocktails by mixologist Allen Katz and an expanded menu of French-Moroccan specialties, including tasty tajines, couscous and lamb ribs. A raised platform with tents on the third level gives VIPs a bird’s eye view of the debauchery on the dance floor below.
