There are all types of dance music, however personally I prefer Tribal. This to me is one of the most richest sounds that were ever generated by this category
(dance
) of music. It's one of a kind beat has a flow that acts as building blocks. It grows stronger and louder with its deep sound effects that leads you into a musical journey. As it progresses it sucks you in more and more. With each new added blocks of sound you connect with the music deeper and farther into it's journey. All the sounds grow and in unison they burst into their peek note. You explode on the dance floor from the magnitude of satisfaction.
Ok I know it all sounds like a lame story about an LSD trip, but to me its a feeling I get when I hear Tribal
(No I am not a Factoryhead just a tribal fan
). Some might disagree and thats fine of course. If before you did not listen to tribal in a proper manner, I suggest to take 10 minutes and give it a try. Let the music sinck in and wrap around you. Let it take control of your limbs and mind. Try to listen and follow every twist in the mix and every sound behind the beat. All the goodies are in the background so listen hard, it is trully a great music you can dance to.
From Jonathan Peters dark tribal afterhours sessions in Soundfactory to a more deeper underground Dj's, tribal has grown into it's tremedous heights in the nightlife music. There is also deep tribal, house tribal, deep house tribal, progressive deep house tribal, and the list goes on. I want to know if there is anyone here that listens to such music. What do you think about tribal? What are your preferred DJ's as well as types of dance music in general? Lastly, what tribal DJ's would you recommended for the listening pleasure?
