| After the "1-2-3 Knockout punch" of:
1. Twilo and the following club closures 2. 9/11 3. MP3 / downloading / major dance labels going under
NYC has been dead.
Well last week I hit up Crobar 3x, Spirit 2x, and passed by various other places near 27/28th and 10 ave and I have to say things are looking vibrant not only for big room venues but just about a year ago this section alone had NOTHING, and now there were human traffic jams on the sidewalks.

| beware of the dog. It will take some time befor New York will ocme back but at least the process began with openings and reopenings of the Crobar, Spirit, Deep... waiting on the Sound Factory   | |

| vipclubber - 10/19/2004 3:37 AM... waiting on the Sound Factory actually no. People need to "let the past be the past" and hold on to the memories. The scene must move forward. There probably will never another Twilo or Factory for "us", but the next generation coming in will make and find their new "homes".   | |

| Look the case is that era will always be just that. Now all the great DJs have evolved , and there not playing the same style, maybe they became more commercial, or they just nneded a change. My experience is that a lot of people dog DJs that were kik ass, like Tiesto, or JP, or PVD, i still like them, but other people got a little critical. I heard Sasha the 1st time at crobar, and I totally enjoyed it. I listen to the DJ s more to enjoy than to analyze.   | |
