Display Types

Built-in. Built-in or permanent displays are those that are directly attached to the store and cannot be removed without altering or damaging the floor area. Permanent displays are usually store shelves that are built with long-term usage in mind. The displays are also strategically placed in an effort to address customers' needs.

Custom Fixtures. These displays are non-permanent and usually only put up to serve as an advertisement for new products and/or seasonal items that the company carries and may sometimes even be clearance sales. This would mean using built-in fixtures and decorating them in accordance to the season's theme or new product(s). After the said promotional date, stores can remove the decorations and use the shelving for their regular items.

Countertop. Counter top displays are usually located on top of the cashier counters or near the counter area. Magazines, candies and small items are usually promoted in this section.
