In the history of New York nightlife it is very rare that a room comes along that changes everything about the business. In 1996 a very special club named Life opened at 158 Bleecker Street, in the heart of Greenwich Village. For 5 years, Life was the only club to be at in town. If you were an A-List celebrity you could not come to New York without spending an evening at Life. Clubgoers could not get enough of the room. In fact, it may be the only club in history that ever closed down because it was too popular for the neighborhood it was in.

Well, 8 years have passed since that legendary club closed it's door. Now in 2008, Life is reborn as Le Poisson Rouge, which in French means the Red Fish. Although the room has gone through extensive renovations, it is still as huge and amazing as it was years ago. With an 8,000 square foot dance floor and main room and a beautifully reimagined lounge, this new venue hopes to breath life into the NYC club scene.

Door Policy:
Everyone is free till midnight, reduced after. Guestlist is open till 2am. Dress code is strongly enforced.
