Once the super-chic Moomba, this West Village restaurant/lounge has become a shadow of its former self. Would-be hipsters slurp poorly made cocktails in a brown den accented with uncomfortable, segmented sofas and deer antler chandeliers. Bathroom attendants add that extra touch of annoyance. The waiters will try to sell you a $12 bottle of still water the moment you sit down, and move you up to "bottle service," which means $250 for Grey Goose or Tanqueray.

Perhaps the people who come here are navigating New York with two-year old copies of Paper magazine. House cocktails disappoint: The cosmo tasted like alcoholic Gatorade, and two waiters gave completely different lists of ingredients for their Sweet Pea Martini (then the bartender couldn't make one when it was ordered). The upstairs VIP areas are still smartly set out and make a good venue for a private party, but otherwise, the space has little to offer.
