Walking along the cloth tunnel entrance to Sessa is like being born in reverse, but ending up in a genie's bedroom. Sheer canopies delineate the dance floor, seating areas (bottle service only), and otherwise create a dreamy atmosphere in Balinese style, in what used to be Twirl. There's even a special space for the emperor of the night, in the form of a raised gazebo-like platform, guarded by a large golden Buddha. It overlooks the dance floor and is entourage-sized. Luckily for those in need of repose, there is a downstairs lounge, sans sitting fee. Generic club music (R&B, contemporary disco, etc.) is the norm, but the sound is great, and since people come to make it a big night, the place has energy no matter what. The name comes courtesy of an owner's young daughter being unable to pronounce his sister Vanessa's name properly.
