Former Quo, even the first step into the club is caliente: The entry way surrounded by bubbling water columns gives way to a prime view of barely clad go-go dancers atop an ultrasuede platform. Banquettes full of men and women dressed in flashy, skin-baring clothing surround the dance floor, where exhibitionism is a must. The antithesis of a quiet night out, Dtro's impressive sound system blasts house in the front room and eclectic mixes (think Outkast mixed with Guns N' Roses) in the more crowded red-lit, fur-lined back room. Watch the glowing sand-filled bar closely, its colors change right before your eyes.

Not a typical too-cool, see-and-be-seen club crowd, patrons come to have a good time--to dance, drink vodka-orange martinis (one bartender's specialty) and to meet other similar singles--all without paying a steep cover. The tall, lithe waitresses are friendly and mix sociably with the generally young and good-looking crowd.
